Creation of a Traditional Malaysian Dance Troupe in Paris

Unesco, Malaysian Tourism Paris and MAF are getting together to create a traditional malaysian dance troupe in Paris with the objectif to promote Malaysia's rich cultural heritage and are recruiting members and their children who are keen to learn malaysian traditional dances.

Costumes and training will be provided and the training sessions will be held at Unesco. When ready these dancers will be called upon to perform in public during malaysian festivals and other gatherings. Official support will come from the Ministry of Tourism and Unesco.
