MALAYSIAN AMBASSADOR TO FRANCE PRESENTS LETTER OF CREDENCE TO FRENCH PRESIDENT
H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal, Ambassador of Malaysia to France, presented his letter of credence to H.E. Mr. Nicolas Sarkozy, President of the French Republic on Friday, 2 July 2010. The ceremony took place at the Elysée Presidential Palace in Paris.
H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal is the 15th Malaysian Ambassador to be accredited France since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1957.
H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal was accompanied by Ms. Astanah Abdul Aziz, Deputy Head of Mission. The presentation ceremony was also attended by senior government officials from the Elysée Palace and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Following the presentation of credentials, H.E. Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Zainal had an audience with the French President H.E. Nicolas Sarkozy.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Malaysian Residence attended by senior government officials from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heads of the Malaysian Agencies in Paris as well as officials from the Malaysian Embassy to celebrate the occasion.
